Cross-cultural Communicaton
Every single human being has the same needs. Every single one of us is unique. Let’s connect.
Culture can be understood as the set of rules, beliefs, values and assumptions that give us orientation as how to behave, and give us a sense of identity and belonging. Culture is not only defined by our nationality, but by our family, our job, our hobbies, our spiritual beliefs, etc. Within each community we belong to, we have a shared culture. However, we are often completely unaware of the cultures that condition us, and that we reproduce on a daily basis. Until we are confronted with a culture different to our own. This may seem off-putting, disorienting and scary at first. However it is an incredible opportunity for us to re-discover who we are, and become more conscious of what values and beliefs we chose to have.
