Embodied facilitation
When we get out of our head and into our body, we discover a whole new perspective where there is room for everybody’s values.
Change is a process, not an event. And it requires us to engage not only or logical mind, but the habits and emotions that are memorised and stored in our body. The foundation of my facilitation is to include our different ways of knowing the world: cognitive, sensory, and emotional. In other words, to integrate mind, body and heart. By bringing these into alignment, we have greater access to our intuition and creativity, and transformation can take place. With each workshop I design, I draw from an array of tools to include these three levels, which results in sessions that are both playful and deep. In particular, my background in theatre pedagogy allows me to design activities in which the body can be used as a transformative learning tool for participants.
